Drum Lessons Mississauga
Welcome to a fun and exciting drum school! At National Academy of Music, we will work with you to transform you into a fantastic and skillful drummer. We offer drum lessons for beginners as young as four through to professionals, and are flexible in our curriculum and lesson plans.
Your private Mississauga drum lessons: what to expect
You will first learn basics such as technique and stick control, which are critical for new drummers. After you master these, we will show you how to use the snare, hi-hat, crash cymbal, bass drum, tom toms, floor toms and ride cymbal - all together. We offer drumming styles such as:

As you gain confidence, you will progress from the basic rudiments all the way to the most advanced level where you will learn: ratamacues, 11-stroke rolls, flamacues, and finally, creative improvisation and guidelines for playing in a band.
